Welcome to #MagicalMay! Did you know the meaning of the month May? The name is due to the Italian goddess of spring, Maia. She was seen by both the Greeks and Romans as a nurturing force, filled with warmth and abundance. Her name means “Great One”. So, what better month than this one to celebrate all things toys-related?
Why #MagicalMay toys?

Of course we have already had #MastUrfulMArch and we discussed toys then as well. Maybe now you wonder why we need a whole month on toys/masturbation again. First of all, we can never talk too much about self-pleasure. For sex with another person to work and be pleasurable, you HAVE to know yourself first. And that’s what we achieve with this focus on masturbation. Secondly, we did a quick run over when we talked about toys in March, now we are deep-diving!
Toys time
Have you ever given toys a thought or used them? Have you ever bought a sex toy? The thing with sex toys is that if you’ve never given them thought, going into a store is really difficult. There are so many different ones to be found. The first question to answer in search of your perfect toy is what kind of stimulation are you looking for. Do you want internal or external stimulation? Possibly even both (you sly one, I like you).
WAP because of #MagicalMay
Yeah, you fuckin’ with some wet-ass pussy
Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion – WAP
We’ve all been singing and dancing to this song during lockdown. It really is stuck in all of our minds. But when it comes to toys, we REALLY need that wet ass pussy. Lube is where it’s at, ladies. There are different formulas for lube, from water-based, silicone-based, and oil-based, but for toys and condoms, please always use water-based lube. The other two can lead to break down of the toys AND condoms. If you are wondering why we need a wet ass pussy, lube makes things so much more pleasurable (penetration becomes so much fun).

Cleaning it all up again
When it comes to all this fun, please remember that everything needs a clean up afterwards. After penetration, the advice is to pee because it allows the bacteria to leave the urethra and there is less of a chance for a UTI. Your toys ALSO need a cleanup. You can use soap and water for a good wash afterwards, but every now and then it’s good to use a specific toy cleaner. Don’t use fragrant soaps, unless you want an unhappy vagina. Just mild soaps will do. The way you clean them depends on your use of them. For example, if you engage in anal and vaginal play, you will HAVE to wash in between. Please remember *REMEMBER*, only vaginal to anal and NEVER vice versa. If you do not wash properly in between before, that UTI will still be coming for you.
So, now that we have some basics down, the upcoming weeks we will discuss different toys and the fun we can have with them! Next week we’ll start with the toys we use externally. If you have any questions or you get stuck I’m just an email away!
