What have you ladies done with last weeks info? How did the assignment go? Was it the first time you took some time to look at your vagina? What did you notice? Did you end up getting into masturbation, even though we didn’t say we would (naughty!). I want to know ALL the things.
What that vulva do?
With the assignment last week we started into learning more about our vulvas, and mainly about how it looks. This week I want to focus on how our vulvas work! Again, this is important because you need to know these things when it comes to pleasuring yourself during #MastUrfulMarch.

Damn, that clit!
I did introduce the clitoris (and its whole complex) to you last week. Just a refresher: we have the glans clitoris (also called the hood as it protects/lays over our button like a hoodie), but that’s only a quarter (QUARTER) of the rest of the clitoris (the long lines on the side) which we know swell up when we get aroused. The clitoris has 8000 (!) nerve endings compared to 4000 in the penis. What does that mean? It means our pleasure point is HIGHLY sensitive, even when sensitivity does depend woman to woman.
That vagina though…
A quarter of women consistently orgasm during intercourse. My dears, let me reiterate: 75% of women DO NOT achieve orgasm during intercourse consistently (about half of women achieve an orgasm during intercourse sometimes). Why do we care during #MastUrfulMarch? Because it tells us what’s important in our own foray into masturbation. Just a dildo might not be enough (or the assorted vegetables we talked about last time). Three quarters of us need more than inserting something in our vagina to come.
Touch that clit

Which means we should go back to that clit. Our clitoris with all its nerve endings is here to bring us pleasure. Actually, it is THE ONLY structure build just for pleasure. Yo! Only for the reason of making us feels good. Why aren’t we spending WAY MORE time with homegirl? This week it’s all about touching that clit. I’d like for you to start with just your fingers.
Why? A lot of women have become dependent on using a vibrator. Now, first of all: NO, you cannot desensitize your clit. It is not how our bodies work. However, using vibration WILL lead to the most powerful orgasms and no amount of fingers and/or tongues can make up for the speed and intensity that a vibrator can get to. You will still be able to orgasm, it’ll just be different. That’s why I want you to start manually, so we know and learn to recognize your different orgasms. Try out different strokes, vary in the amount of pressure you apply, but also try out new positions!
ooPPS, I did it again!
To get to the oooo part of masturbation, we need to look at different things we like. Strokes can vary from up/down, left/right, circles, slow/fast. It’s all about teasing yourself, building up the foreplay but with yourself (see how it all comes together *no pun intended*). The amount of pressure you apply can also vary. You might start off with soft touches, but as your arousal builds you can apply more pressure if that’s what you need.

Don’t forget, all of our clits are different. Some women only need a slight touching of the clit, because the sensitivity is too much and as soon as arousal hits and the hood slides back, they might not want any direct pressure, so you need to figure out what works for you. And then positions? I know you might think that I have now lost my mind, but here’s the thing: masturbation can change if you try out different positions. So not only on your back, but for example on your tummy, pushing your clitoris back down on your hand/finger or grinding on something. Try it all!
Ready for another week of getting crazy by yourself? If you have any questions, let me know and happy hunting 😁
